Sun and Moon Couture

Since my first encounter with festival culture at EDC in 2014, I've been captivated by the vibrant energy and creativity that defines this community. Inspired by the freedom of expression and the desire to stand out, I began crafting my own festival outfits, pouring my passion into every stitch.

Encouragement from friends and strangers alike propelled me to share my creations with the world, leading me to open my first Etsy shop in 2015. Though initially unfamiliar with the world of online commerce, I embraced the challenge, learning and evolving with each setback and success. Through persistence and dedication, Miss Jie Designs emerged as a beacon of artistic expression and individuality.

Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, each garment is meticulously handmade in our studio, with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. While some pieces may carry a weightiness in their construction, they are light in spirit, exuding the essence of freedom and creativity.

In 2018, my husband joined me on this journey, bringing with him a spark of inspiration that would ignite a new chapter in our story. Together, we ventured into the world of illuminated fashion, adding LED lights to our designs. This transformative addition not only illuminated our outfits but also illuminated the path forward for our brand.
